This sustainable swap helps you replace steel wool or plastic pot scrubbers in the kitchen. Great for heavy duty jobs like stuck on food, heavy stains and cast iron pots. Can be used on non-stick pans, just be more gentle with it.

Wooden handle with stiff plant fiber bristles (mixture of palm and sisal). 100% Biodegradable!

Longevity: Can be used for up to 6 months. Do not leave any of the wood parts soaking in water, the wood will absorb water and it will cause the wood to swell and crack. Place in a dry spot after using it.

Storage and Care: Cracking is normal for uncoated wood brushes. You can oil or wax your brushes to reduce the potential of cracking if you regularly submerge your dish brushes in water. Wood is naturally antimicrobial, but if you need to clean your brushes, use a fine grit sandpaper to sand down the handle and clean bristles (as needed) with vinegar to kill bacteria.

End of Life:  Can be demoted to household cleaning then composted.
